The problem is, that the different groups are pitched against each other. Is it right that some scoff at "noobs" and "casual" players? Surely not. But I also see the other way around.
I say: live and let live. What pisses me off - and I see this from many reviewers and commenters - is that game X should change this to be a better game. What they all forget: me. They mean it is a better game for them. But people are different, what one thinks is better another finds boring. So maybe one guy loves instant gratification in a game, another one likes Monster Hunter. So what. Both should have their games.
In the light of this this video comes down to me as a video attacking a culture of gamers. Sure, they aren't without a fault, but this is actually not better.
