Happens with most AAA budget games. They are super front loaded and thus see huge discounts at retail not long after due to no one buying them past first couple months. Sure, I'm just once more shocked at Steam for their terrible pricing outside of their Steam sales. One of the biggest reasons why I'd never want a platform to go digital only.
