What if they actually got FFXV running on Switch though?

My gut feeling is that Square-Enix is making a general Switch Unreal Engine 4 engine for Dragon Quest XI.
They will take this engine and also port FFXV to it (probably Kingdom Hearts III after the PS4/XB1 release too). Now that will probably require a good deal of work and lots of assets and things to be remade specifically for Switch, but I guess S-E feels it's worth it. It could also allow them to put a hypothetical FFXV-2 on the system, so it's something that could pay off for them over time.
