The fact that The Orville, a Star Trek spoof show, and Prelude to Axanar, a low budget fan film, both look better than the actual new Star Trek show, smh.Well, we were pretty ok with the Klingon redesign from the original design to next generation. We got a pretty good explanation in enterprise for that redesign but that was way later. I would hope that they have a canon explanation for this new style, but redesigns ate a pretty common theme within Star Trek.
