Yeah because those one or two point differences really matter when Sony has twice as many 90+ rated games and 3 times as many 80+ rated games. As for sales 3DS is neither current gen, nor a console. Handheld generations don't run in parallel to console generations so they can't be compared. Wii U has a 2 million lead with a 1 year lead on the market, but it doesn't really as 20-30% of PS4 sales are digital and not shown on VGC. Nintendo's switch games won't sell half as much as Sony's PS4 games, even if switch owners will have nothing worth buying but Nintendo games. |
Do you want to bet on that? Even though Nintendo's Switch games in three months have already matched Sony's PS4 games in the first five months of 2017? And we're talking Nintendo's 3 games versus over 30 games from Sony and 4 million Switch units versus 60 million PS4 units. It'll only shift in favor of Nintendo from here.
People just like Nintendo games more than Sony games. Otherwise, they wouldn't buy Nintendo hardware, which, as you state, has nothing worth buying but Nintendo games.
