I sincerely doubt the poor sales have anything to do with people waiting on X. Xbox's exclusive lineup in 2017 so far has been incredibly lackluster. Add in the fact that PS4 is cheaper, has gotten some heavy hitting exclusives, and the successful launch of the Switch, and you have a recipe for disaster for Xbone. Xbox just isn't competitive right now, and it's not looking like that's going to change much with the X.
