I don't wanna  buy one for Mario Odyssey and then find myself back to getting only like 5 games a year that interest me like with the Wii U.

We'll have to wait and see which games the 3DS gets in 2018. If it only gets ports, remakes, 3rd versions (Pokémon) and smaller games, Nintendo will be able to make lots of Switch games.

So far what Switch games do we have confirmed for 2018, Kirby, Yoshi, Fire Emblem? Not sure if I'll buy any of those to be honest. FE and Kirby aren't really my jam, and while Yoshi is certainly beautiful, the Treehouse stream made it look kind of tedious to play tbh.

I worry that I'd get done with Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, and Xenoblade 2, then find myself without much to play.
