I don't think we've had this discussion before. I don't think I've ever heard anyone complain about them. At least the way I play, they are basically a non-factor. I don't really think about them at all and they have virtually no effect on gameplay. I do get what you mean about how there are no hitboxes in the game. A swing just registers as damage whether or not it physically hits, but that just seems like such a small issue.
