All we have here is a handful of fans who want so very dearly for Nintendo to just make one device that they have a huge confirmation bias that prevents them from interpreting what Nintendo says in any other way than the way they want it to mean.

iOS is one platform, 3DS is one platform and Wii U was another platform, they were not same platform, same goes for Wii and DS, GC and GBA, they are difrent platforms, while iOS is one platform.

Wii U has failed hard and wasnt exactly brand new platform like Switch, Wii U was more evolution of Wii platform not brand new platform. Switch is brand new platform in any sense (brand, concept, tech, architecture..). Actually totaly opposite, development and support struggles they had with Wii U and 3DS (two difrent platforms) maid them to change their hardware philosophy, during Wii U and 3DS they start talk about new approach, "need for having platform like iOS or Android", during Wii U and 3DS they admit they can't any more support effectively two different platforms, during 3DS and Wii U they merged their handheld and home console hardware division, and handheld and home console software divisions...

Nobady talks about one deviace, but about more iterations of hardware that will be part of same platform. And that's actually very obvious, you from some reason don't want to see that, same like you didnt want to see that NX will be hybrid.

Lies. You were the one saying that the NX was going to be multiple form factors that played the same games, including a home console, a portable console, a tablet etc. I was the one saying it was one device. Of course, this was because I had actually seen the dev kit and knew what was coming, so there's that.
