Could I make a suggestion which is a ratty dig at the Wii-U and guess that the Switch version is probably suffering somewhat from its popularity. Just a thought, I have been removed from lobbies too with a error message, happened a couple of times.
Never seen any of the other things mentioned in the OP though about lag in games, got a keen eye, think I would have seen them in the races I played. Could be a connection issues at your end OP?
