He talks about being "tender" with the console, but being able to take the Joy Cons off without holding the button. He also push the tablet off while holding the Joy Cons, just by pushing the tablet down with his thumbs.

It's pretty weird and something to watch for in the next few weeks.

OK, so it does seem like he slots it in correctly. Hopefully the notch is metal and not plastic, because people like them will surely wear it down by pushing the joycons off. He does need to exert some force into the tablet for it to slide, so I cant see this sliding off while holding it.

Jejeje, just thought of better design locations. Have the joycons slide from the bottom and the usb-c contact at the top. In handheld mode the tablet is physically impossible slide off while playing  and to dock it it is done upside down. Plus when the console is in tabetop mode, you can charge the console. Switch V2.0 here!
