I actually wish they was the method forward as well, the Witcher 3 showed how to do DLC correctly, but no company seems to follow good practice DLC.

So wait, if they give you this DLC for the same price but with less content then is suddlenly good Dlc, what kind of logic is that? Also, no other company does Dlc right? And what happens with Mk8 and Hyrule Warriors?

I don't know why everybody takes for granted this will be just a typical "hard" mode when it can be a survival or super hard mirrored mode or something like that and still have a hard mode included with the game once you finish it.

Well for every good nintendo DLC like MK8, we have bad ones like Fire Emblem Awakening (which thankfully did not hinder the core game), so I don't think Nintendo is doing it right either. Same with Sony, same with any company I can think of, because for every thing I feel company does right, I think they also have another game where they do it wrong.

Also yes, I do mean that, because if you make DLC Pack 1 as free reward, more people will like the idea of paying for DLC Pack 2 and yes that would mean $20 bucks would still be $20 bucks. This is exactly what CDProjekt did and wants to do going forward.
