I don't agree with what you have said about Mario Kart.
I feel like people have said something similar, that all they could do in the future is add more tracks, a few times before. And if they just did that, we probably wouldn't have had the changing gravity mechanic. I would be disappointed if Mario Kart became more of a service on each console, and I would much rather have an all new game, with a fresh new mechanic or spin on the formula, with 12-16 brand new tracks and a similar amount of older tracks altered with the new mechanic in mind.
I do however agree with what you have said about ARMS. After initially being far from impressed, the game has grown on me the more I have seen it. It has a nice style, and if it has enough variation in characters, arenas and game modes it could be Nintendo's next multiplayer hit
