The other games had legs because the franchise was in a growth period though. Particularly the first game which iirc sold over 220k across the original release and budget re-release.

I don't think the franchise is growing anymore so I'm not sure this game will have the same legs. Also, user reviews from Japan seem quite scathing which might also impact it.

We'll see. The franchise isn't in a bad place by any stretch, but I'm not convinced it's doing as well as it could be.

Well the closest competition for said franchise would be Ace Attroney correct? (I know they aren't that similar, but closest competition). Is that franchise also still healthy, since that specific genre could have bright future if those franchises are still healthy.
