Well, let me shed some light on this. I use a 3Ds and also a tablet. While I do play on the tablet, there are experiences it doesn't offer. I have no idea, how it ever could be possible to control a game like Monster Hunter or Kid Icarus Uprising on a tablet. I know, there are bluetooth controllers for these things. But why should I bother buying such addons, if there are no proper games supporting it. On the other hand: why should devs create games that need an controller for mobile platforms, if no one is using one. So I don't see such games coming soon. There might be other games technical well possible on mobile: Etrian Odyssey or Fire Emblem come to mind. But I actually see no good games in that area. I might just miss them. So no way for now, that mobile can replace a handheld for a gamer like me.
