nintendo could have done something that isn't classic without putting a lot of expensive useless stuffs in it.
The basic concept of the Switch, being a handheld and a home console would have been enough. They should, no joycons etc, you put the console in the dock, you take out a pro controller, that's done.
The reality is that Nintendo is out of ideas when it's come to games, it's easier for them to put a gimmick that will cost a lot of money to the consumer, and then build small games like ARMS and 1.2 switch, that cost nothing to make but will make a lot of money.
Rather than the other option of making games like Zelda, AAA games with a big budget and high financial risks that needs a lot of works and talent to make it work.
