To be honest the only really new thing the Joycons are doing is the HD Rumble ... which is neat ... but it's just a rumble technology. It's not going to dramatically alter game play.
Every system has some kind of motion control technology, it's old and standard technology these days.
If 1, 2 Switch sells millions and millions of copies like Wii Sports and Wii Fit did, I'll admit I was wrong, but I don't see it happening.
