tight arcade gameplay - What about Splatoon, MK8, Smash, The Wonderful 101, Bayonetta, DKCTF, YWW, SM3DW, Starfox 0, Pokken Tournament, Hyrule Warriors? And hell yes, even Devil's Third. All of those have awesome gameplay (some of those may be HARD, but still very good).

If you have to throw in Devil's Third to pad out a list, an alarm should go off.

Haha. I surely didn't have to, it's just that I really like the core gameplay, no matter what critics may say. Fine, leave it out of that list. I think my argument is still clear.
