Well difference is that you getting full home experience, and that actually Switch is build in purpose to act and to be used, and that operate like real home console also, you cant say that for Vita/PSP, they are just handhelds that can be connected to TV, nothing more.

I would contend that the "purpose" doesn't really matter when the core functionality (play on the go or at home on TV) is the same.
