I was merely pointing out that a device and can be used for gaming both on the go and on a TV not a new concept. Don't get me wrong, I think Switch is a good idea, but it's not revolutionary.

I dont think the idea in and of itself is revolutionary either but its seems to be a far more streamlined approach.

To me it seems like what Apple did for MP3 Players,  Smartphones & Tablets with iPod, iPhone & iPad. None of those devices were the first of their kind but they were big improvements over the previous attemps at those concepts.

With Switch, the concept is the focus while it was basically an afterthought for previous devices that did it.

Yeah, I think all three of us are on the same page here; it's improved over previous devices that offer similar functionality, its just not a brand new concept.
