What I gather from the responses in this thread, the video is about congratulating Nintendo fans for letting bad Nintendo ideas flop. Is this really anything new though? That's quite consistent throughout video game history, hence why Nintendo goes through extreme highs and lows, be it consoles or games (series).

I'd say the best thing someone can get out of this realisation (for the people this is news for) is that it adds another layer to the neverending question of why many third parties have such a hard time on Nintendo systems. Well, if Nintendo themselves can't sell everything they'd like to sell, then it stands to reason that products which are generally inferior to Nintendo's will have problems too.

Many people would disagree with you on your first sentence. He's one of the few people on here that can get cool level headed discussions.
