There's tons of Wi-Fi standards these days, and 5GHz Wi-Fi offers a huge improvement over the 2.4GHz standard in terms of speed and interference. Do you expect the NX will use this? Or will they pull a 3DS on us and opt for slower G Wi-Fi?

By the way, the Wii U had a 5GHz chip used exclusively for Gamepad streaming, so Nintendo is well aware of how good the tech is.

5GHz is used for bandwidth reasons, but range becomes an issue. It only covers a room.
2.4GHz has lower bandwidtch but much better range. Covers various rooms.
There is a compromise between each.

The Gamepad used 5GHz due to bandwidth priorities and it's the reason of its limited range.
The NX could use 2.4GHz for internet connectivity and 5GHz for the screen sharing miracast.
