I've just finished the last episode of a anime I was watching and am unsure what to watch next. These are the ones I have seen: - DBZ (liked it and watched it to the end but was getting bored of the rinse and repeat formula) - Naruto (liked it more than DBZ, but not the best) - Bleach (I loved it more than DBZ and Naruto. I think I liked the whole heaven and hell thing and enjoyed the humor more than in the other two) - One Piece (I got up to the bit where he fought the clown and then got bored) - Seven Deadly Sins (absolutely fell in love with this. for me it was the perfect blend of story, characters, humor and fanatsy) - Blue Exorcist (loved this just as much as Seven Deadly Sins) - Fate/Stay Night (Enjoyed this as well, but it was lacking the humor from the above 2) I've also watched AoT and OPM, but I think them 2 are on a league on their own. I like martial arts, sword fighting, spells, summons, quirky characters, humor, and less formulaic animes. If there is anything that anyone could recommend that would be awesome! |
Actually hard to think of something since Nanatsu no Taizai is pretty much the pinnacle of fantasy Shounen.
You should definitely try out Soul Eater though. It's quite unique. Hunter X Hunter is also pretty unique in its own way.
Also something artistically excellent and certainly unique with great story and characters would be Katanagatari.

Yup, Seven Deadly Sins had a lot I absolutely loved. In fact I can't think of anything I didn't like. There were bits that reminded me Studio Ghibli stuff, other bits that reminded me of old classic video games such as Wonder Boy and Alex the Kidd.
