Nintendo will continue to put out shallow, half-hearted mobile apps to generate revenue for their console and handheld divisions. Think of them as fast food. Pokemon Go is a Quarter Pounder and Sun/Moon are their $70.00, prime steak. Their mobile apps are designed to create brand recognition, not redefine their entire focus.

Mobile games are too shallow to go full 24/7. Pokemon Go will be dead in the west by fall, easily. It's already declining. They're not stupid and they know casuals well after the whole Wii implosion and mass exodus. They know core gaming is where the loyalty is. They're not abandoning long term viability for short term windfalls.
