We shall see. They did say that we will get some paid apps, so not everything will be F2P. If, for example, we get Super Mario Bros Go for 9.99 with 30 courses, this will be in the same vein as their games on traditional consoles. In a smaller scope, of course.

I doubt that, the controls will pollute the small screen of the smartphone. And the price is extremely expensive, you don't really expect that your average candy crush player will spend 10 bucks in a game with limited gaming time.

I am thinking in something like a mix of temple run with flappy bird mechanics (automatic run), of course maintaining the level design, mario animations and everything that make visually identical to Super Mario bros. They'll charge 0.99$. Instant success.
