not a one? every board game ever is on ipad (chess, life, monopoly, ect) and it plays out well to have it on a tablet. the tablet basically is the "board". also i'll just assume you don't have a kid. if you are looking for interactive entertainment for a toddler mobile is really the only avenue. the touch controlls are intuitive enough for my 2 year old (in a way that DS is too complicated for him to understand). there are literally millions of apps availible many of which are free. the lack of "quality" isn't a big deal because he's 2. software can literally be as simple as touch the screen to make a dot change colors (that's not an exaggeration,.. my kid loves the app based off the book press here). most of the "games" i play with him because its is as much about educational experiences as it is about "games". by the time my kid is old enough to understand a "3DS" he'll have years of experience with a mobile device. i seriously doubt he'll want to change from thing he'll already know and love,.. at the very least this is what i'm seeing in my young neice and nephews. this is what is killing nintendo imo. lots of people joke that ninendo is a "kiddy machine" but to me it isn't child friendly enought to take hold with today's youth. |
Everyone I know who has children don't buy console for their little children. Mobiles are far cheaper, with lots of free games, and children just adore it.
Nintendo makes games for children but they forget that children don't buy stuff. Parents do and they buy whatever is cheaper for their children: mobile of course.
God bless You.
My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+
