Why water Pokemon are the best Pokemon!

Recently with the announcement of the new starters there has been a lot of chatter about how much Popplio sucks. I think it's a good occasion to remind everyone that water type Pokemon are the best type Pokemon no questions asked.

Here are some reasons:

1) Water Pokemon are super effective against Fire, Ground, and Rock Pokemon.

2) Most Water Pokemon can learn Ice moves which are super effective against Grass, Flying and Dragon Pokemon.

3) Most Water Pokemon can learn Surf, which is not only a powerful move but one of the most useful HMs for navigating the game.

4) Most Water Pokemon are blue, which is an awesome color loved by many people around the world.

5) Misty specializes in Water Pokemon. Misty is Hawt!!!!

6) Squirtle is a water pokemon. Squirtle is the best Pokemon ever therefore it is a boon for Water Pokemon of all types. The second best Pokemon is Blastoise.

7) Many water Pokemon are actually based on real life aquatic creatures. Meaning the animals in the sea are the closest thing we have to real Pokemon.

8) Piplup is so cute!

And many other reasons.

So lay off Popplio. He will eventually kick Owlet and Litten's ass.
