I'd still contest that overall Wii had better third party support than Wii U. In its 4th year Wii got Call of Duty, Goldeneye, Sonic Colours, Sonic Racing, Monster Hunter Tri, Sin & Punishment, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Red Steel 2, Epic Mickey, No More Heroes 2. In Wii U's 4th year it's getting... well, pretty much nothing. Hell, Wii had better third party support in its 5th year than Wii U had in its 2nd. And while Twilight Princess was cross-gen, it was still released first as a Wii game and provided fans with an awesome new Zelda on launch day. Meanwhile, Wii U will be lucky to get a proper Zelda at all, and even if it does, it'll be arriving after the system's dead and buried. I have no problem going back to the Wii now, in fact I've played my Wii more than my Wii U this gen. I'm the total opposite, I'll take the Wiimote over HD by a country mile. |
Wow, I've just realised that I've been playing more Wii than Wii U this generation too.
God bless You.
My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+
When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019
