HD Wii?

Is there some thought that the Wii has less titles out there than the X360 or PS3? There are nearly 1800 retail games on that system where the X360 and PS3 have 1100 and just over 1000 games respectively.

I mean even the NTSC Complete wii games collection that guy completed recently was 1260 games.... 100 more titles than the X360 has globally.

Also @ JWeinCom, I agree with you someone who buys a console just to play the yearly release of CoD is no different to me than someone who just buys the system for Waggling Horse Petters 4 but still when it comes to the traditional gamer shall we say, those are the type of gamers who Activision advertises towards and who they want to bank from.

Other titles have the same sort of decline yearly as the "traditional" gamer went for one of the HD twins over the years

WWE literally ranks games in reverse order from 2008 > 2013 declining each year

the X360 search for the same gives the 2008 title the top spot but 2/3/4 all go to the later games of 2012/2013 and 2k14 (2k15 and 2k16 rate lower down but those games had a lot less features and released later on the X360 compared to the Next gen versions of the same game)

Also it's one thing for people to "think" that the traditional gamer dollar has moved away from the Wii/Wii-U playerbase, but when it comes to the WWE games, not only did those games decline in sales yearly on the Wii, but after 2012 they weren't ported to that system at all, nor did they come to the Wii-U both THQ and 2K sports also seem to "think" that the system lost that gamer from its playerbase and their "thinking" probably involved a lot more market research than I'm going to be doing digging through the VGchartz game list with the core game titles which come to mind (or actually came to the Wii at all, I was sure it had at least some of the Assassins Creed games ported to it, but seem to be wrong or the VGchartz DB is missing them).
