I played it on the original gameboy and was one of my favourite games on the system. I sucked at Megaman, I had some of the games in the series but I still sucked at it, though I admit it´s a great game.

That's why Shovel Knight might be interesting. The shovel does resemble that cane mechanic.

Not sure, maybe someone else can help you there? What do you say VGC?
