As a peview/update, there are currently five games, well over 50 points each, with a real shot at earning the top spot: Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros for Wii U, Splatoon, and Xenoblade Chronicles X. All from Nintendo, but all from distinct genres. Already, I'm seeing some interesting relationships. For example, Super Mario 3D World has more votes than Splatoon, but Splatoon's voters each give it a higher position on average.
These five games actually have over 60% of the point total. After them, you have a second tier consisting of Wind Waker HD, DKC: Tropical Freeze, and Bayonetta 2, which will easily make the Top 10. And below them, you have over 20 more games, many of which have only one or two votes.
