Would you mind if Nintendo went third-party?

What would stop them from focusing on the highest user base option they are most comfortable with and later releasing on others to maintain quality while choosing the most logical finencial path.

Lets face it i they go 3rd party they are in the power seat, every platform holder will try to make a deal with them.  Sony and ms would be at war and Nintendo would be the beneficiary.  

Well I wouldn't want them on Playstation or Xbox because then I would still need 2 machines :P
