While it did have some disappointing films, it more than made up for it with a surprisingly good Star Wars, a surprisingly good Mission Impossible, and better than expected other films. I think there were more good surprises than bad ones. Still, nothing super-standout this year. Maybe the Martian, but I hadn't seen it.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
