The gamepad acting as a second screen was a big seeking point for Nintendo and I have seen with my nephew how good it is in reality, since he is not bound by the TV to play games. For Minecraft though, it is completely idiotic that you can't use the second screen for inventory when playing on the TV, since the gamepad would be perfect for it.
