Yes, Wii Sports is so hardcore man. Let us not forget forced motion controls in Zelda.... that was absolutely for the "core" gamer that EVERY Nintendo console before the Wii catered too.

Speaking as a hardcore gamer, the Wii absolutely catered to my needs.

Games like Xenoblade Chronicles, Monster Hunter Tri, Metroid Prime 3, Sin & Punishment 2, Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Donkey Kong Country Returns and many more kept me more satisfied than any Nintendo console since the SNES.
