If you have an alien-specific virus that will kill all the aliens then you can kill them off once the planet has been cleared of unwanted inhabitants and then you can move in and take over. |
I read some of the spinoff novels back in the day, and some ideas, like hive controll did arise in them. That would be the most logical thing to do. Or maybe it could be a simple pest-repellent bioweapon that degenerated and thus the bigger version was born. Never the less I am all ears. I love the ALien franchise, and the first movie is one of my all-time favorites. Hell I even like Prometheus, even tough most people seem to hate it.
