There is a difference between being entitled and being informed consumers that hold companies responsible, instead of mindless wallets.
Broken games are nothing but excuses, especially when games releasing with day 1 patches are just as prevalent this generation. Delay's don't and haven't guaranteed polish games at all.
All being complacent does is punish dev/publishers who are responsible with their products and release finished products on time, and makes them delay more.
In fact, I'd say Delays and Broken Games aren't opposites, rather they are simply different forms of the same thing, poor planning.

So your solution is what...? More exact, strict deadlines when dealing with products that can take 4+ to develop?

I don't know what the solution is, and at this point I doubt there could be one,
but the first step is admitting its a problem. Second step could be bringing AA games back. Maybe if we had games to play in droughts even indie games with strong marketting, they wouldn't have to announce games that arent even close to being released just so that we forget that we are waiting. Delay's, Broken Games, Droughts, and Oversaturation are all results of poor planning, lack of focus,, and irresponsbility
