When somebody uses a term like "Best Video Game Ever," quite a few titles come to mind. Really, bring up this topic, and you will get tons of games from multiple generations and all sorts of platforms. However, looking through lists of the Top 10, 25, 50, or 100 games will show that compared to consoles and personal computers, handheld platforms are largely overlooked. The only handheld exclusive you'll likely find is Pokemon Red/Blue.

Perhaps it's because Pokemon stands out so much, or perhaps it's because it was such a huge leap for handheld gaming, but the game's flaws tend to be overlooked or ignored. Even other great games are often criticized on a regular basis. Ocarina of Time is the best-rated game ever, but people are quick to criticize everything from the Water Temple to its slow pacing to the long-winded owl. In contrast, Pokemon's first generation is rarely given the same treatment.

Which is why I'm listing 150 (or so) flaws with Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow. Why 150? Because 100 is too obvious.

Note that these criticisms are for the Western versions of the games, as opposed to the 1996 originals. The original games had their own problems, but I can't read Japanese.
