If the Wii U had full support from all the major 3rd parties, would it have competed with the PS4?

If Wii U still wouldn't have sold well without 3rd party support, is the issue that they make weak hardware? But then the GC and N64 had powerful hardware.

They would still have a significant issue with marketing, which is arguably even more important than price point. I mean look at Apple, they don't give a fuck about prices, cause their marketting is so good that people will pay them whatever they want. Look at Beats, look at McDonalds. Its all Marketting.
