Yer but it feels like Nintendo trying to please a vocal minority rather than hey i'll do what I want to get the franchise to be liked by a new generation of gamers. They got scared of the adventures path because lots of people wanted just the on-rails shooter. I don't see why they cannot banace itm why does it even need to be on-rails flying? why can't it be liek freelancer were you fly between plannets and enoouter things to do for example? |
A vocal minority? The number of people who can't stand Adventures and Assault is not that small. Why do you think Nintendo is rebooting the Star Fox franchise with Zero? By doing that they are pretty much ignoring everything that happened after 64. If Zero does well then it's possible that the next Star Fox is going to be more complex. They are simply testing the waters right now.
