In any of those cases you would make bad choice and you cant be objective at all based on those people opinions because you are doing contrary of what vast majority of people is saying to you.

90% of the Wii userbase decided that the Wii U was not worth, yet the other 10% disagree. Whom is right?

The Wii was mostly bought by casual gamers who probably don't give a damn about any of those 3 current gen consoles. Some of them might game on PS4 or XB1, but they are most likely playing CoD and all that.
