Honestly Nintendo was probably in a state of chaos after Iwata's passing. I think once they get a new president leading the company they will eventually get a Nintendo direct under production. I don't know how long it usually takes to elect a new president of a company the size of nintendo's but we might not see a new direct until October the earliest. :/
