I meant to the install base of the 3DS. Everything else is untested with a smaller install base to start with. If 3DS gets replaced this is different, as the new device will have to build install base anew.

I mean even if ps4 had the same install base as 3DS it won't sell near to Monster hunter on 3DS

That's what I mean with untested. Capcom doesn't know, while sales of MH-franchise on 3DS are tested and they are good.
