Technically: Sure. I personally would prefer MH on home console, it's one of the few games that fit better on the big screen (as do Xenoblade Chronicles). Sadly the japanese prefer it on the 3DS, so no parallel release on WiiU for MH4. It doesn't matter really which home console or all, but in my opinion MH should have at least one non-handheld release.
Commercially: Doubtful. MH still mostly sells in Japan, and there on handheld. Capcom has no economical incentive to put it on any home console. Additionally it is highly likely, that Nintendo still prefers it to have platform-exclusive, so it might help Capcom with an decision in that direction.
