Yup, thought it was funny the "big" Mario was called Super Mario. When I was a kid obvously I didn't read the manuals, so they were just Mario (even 'little' Mario sometimes) and the power-ups Mario to me.

Still there is a post back then that we can return to, 3D title does feature Super Mario, only issue he doesn't become Mario when injured (appart from the Super Mario 3Ds).
