releasing a console in the mid of a generation doesnt make sense. that basically means they have to do catch up which is the worst case scenario if you want to sell something.. i dont see 3rd party support either if they do what you propose also the lifespan of NX will be very short because new consoles from microsoft and sony are on the horizon. releasing a consoles ahead of the competition didnt do good for nintendo (Wii U)
logical step: do it from scratch. do it when it actually matters same way as they did with Wii.
