"If" you don't undestand the meaning of the word "IF" and the context it was used it will ruin your capacity to analyze text.  All of that you wrote was a waste of time. I suggest you to read again my post. A hint: the 3DS isn't dead just like the Xbox One isn't. I believe it will be easy for you now to understand.

"If we follow your logic" is used in similar situations, but in this case the announcement situations are very different.
