| Turkish said: Nope, console games sell better on consoles. Stuff like Mario 3D platformer, Xenoblade X and Zelda are games that would sell millions on Playstation because PS platforms have gotten and are getting similar games that are successful with the right amount of marketing. If Sony markets Xenoblade like they did Bloodborne, that game would be huge on PS4. There's only a few that I see selling more on PC than PS, maybe stuff like Brain training with 5 bucks steam sales. Hell, even games that started out on pc sell better on consoles nowadays. Witcher 3 devs sent out PS4 review copies instead of pc or xbox, all the recent videos around youtube are from the ps4 version. And the xbox marketing campaign has to start as well. Nintendo will not go exclusive, if something happens, that would be going multiplatform and mobile. And if they went exclusive, going to Playstation is obvious and makes the most sense. |
Only Xenoblade, Metroid and Zelda I would give you as a sure thing. Nothing points to Mario 3D platformer doing better, namely when a lot of those kickstarter spirtual successor platformers that are showing up are being successful because of PC audience. Things like Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Mario Party and Mario Kart (The actual games that sell a lot for Nintendo) would do better on the mobile market than all three namely if it is smartly priced.
Your witcher example isn't the best, until you actually get Witcher 3 sales data.
Given I don't think they would actually be exclusive to any set platform, do you? (Under the assumption they went third party).
