So, I have been playing a lot of retro games through my emulator and that way discovered the magic of NES and SNES (being a SEGA nerd bvack in the days kept me blind from those amazing consoles :)). After finishing A link to the past and Super Metroid, I decided it was time to go into gaming on the actual cartridges instead, since emulators don´t provide the right "feeling" and I wan´t to support the games in their original form.
My Sega Mega Drive has sadly also died on me (I think it´s the connectors) so I decided to get a retro console, namely the super retro trio. It has gotten great reviews and doesn´t emulate by some android solution (like Retron 5) but rather by the hardware in itself. You don´t get any fancy menus, you just have a power swith and a reset button, just how I like it. And best of all, you get all three of the greatest consoles ever on one console!
So, I have a fairly large Sega Mega Drive library, but my question to you is: What games should I get for NES and SNES? I like platformers, RPGs, adventure, Metroidvania, SHMUPS, action. I have bought five games so far: Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros, Life Force, Rygar and Blaster Master.
