I just don't even know if the Fusin will ever be done. It just doesn't make sense to me for Nintendo to make an expensive powerful handheld when they have already been shown by Sony that that isn't always a good idea. If I were Nintendo and people were deadset on a fusion console, I would just make a handheld that comes with a knockoff google playstick that allows for streaming on a tv through hdmi. Add bluetooth to the handheld and you can sync up controllers for people that way.
